Now in its 11th year, the Inclusive Awards, organised by Inclusive Companies, has revealed this year’s finalists.

Sponsored by BAE Systems and TalkTalk, they remain one of the UK’s only awards ceremony to specifically honour individuals and organisations that have successfully embedded diversity into their operations. With finalists spanning everything from coding start-ups to housing associations, universities to international airlines, this year’s shortlist represents a broad and committed cross-section of organisations working to build equity into their foundations – often against rising external pressures.

In a year when many organisations are being urged to tone down their DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) efforts, a very different message is coming from the finalists of the 2025 Inclusive Awards – and from those determined to keep inclusion at the top of the workplace agenda.

“These Awards will take place against the backdrop of an ever-changing and increasingly uncertain world for those committed to equity, diversity and inclusion,” said Paul Sesay, CEO of Inclusive Companies. “This year [we’re] seeing increasing pressure on people to dial down on DEI. This simply strengthens our resolve to acknowledge those individuals and organisations determined to drive out discrimination and hold fast to their values of creating an equitable workplace. Where they lead, others will follow – and that is why celebrating their achievements is absolutely the right thing to do.”

POWER OF EQUITY & INCLUSION

Finalists were selected by an independent, diverse panel of judges, who reviewed submissions for tangible impact across all strands of diversity: age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race, and religion. Categories reflect both individual and team efforts across consultancy, leadership, culture, and technological innovation.

Notable finalists include British Airways, shortlisted for its Your Flying Future programme, and Code First Girls, nominated for its work advancing digital inclusion through tech skills for women. Finalists also include local councils, NHS services, and major corporations — underlining the cross-sector commitment to inclusion, even amid shifting political and cultural currents.

“I’m looking forward to hosting the Inclusive Awards and meeting those incredible individuals and organisations who have stood by their DEI values to improve the working environments and lives for their colleagues,” said Louise Minchin, the renowned broadcaster and author, who will present this year’s awards for the first time. “This event reminds us of the power of equity in our workplaces and communities.”
