ABOUT US

FAIR PLAY TALKS:

The Human Side of Responsible Business

Fair Play Talks is a global media platform exploring the human side of responsible business. We cover the leadership, workplace and cultural issues shaping modern organisations – from responsible leadership and inclusion to workplace wellbeing, organisational trust and the future of work.

At a time when expectations of business are rapidly changing, Fair Play Talks exists to create thoughtful, accessible and evidence-based conversations about what responsible organisations should look like in practice.

Through journalism, expert insights, leadership interviews, research and commentary, we spotlight the leaders, ideas and organisations working to build fairer, healthier and more accountable workplaces.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to advance the global conversation around responsible leadership, workplace culture and organisational fairness.

Employees, investors and society increasingly expect organisations to demonstrate:

  • ethical and accountable leadership
  • inclusive workplace cultures
  • meaningful commitment to employee wellbeing
  • responsible governance and social impact
  • trust, transparency and fairness in decision-making

Yet many organisations still face a gap between values and reality. Fair Play Talks exists to explore how organisations can move beyond statements and intentions towards meaningful action, and how leaders can create workplaces where people genuinely feel respected, supported and able to thrive.

WHAT WE COVER

Our editorial coverage is organised around five core pillars:

Responsible Business

Inclusion & Belonging

Covering workplace inclusion, equity, accessibility, representation and cultures where people feel valued and heard.

Leadership Matters

Examining leadership behaviours, organisational culture, psychological safety and the impact leadership has on people and performance.

Workplace Wellbeing

Focusing on mental health, burnout, sustainable work, employee wellbeing and healthier workplace cultures.

Workplace Trends

Tracking the trends shaping modern work, including AI, hybrid work, changing employee expectations and the future of workplace culture.

WHY RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS MATTERS

Responsible leadership is no longer simply a reputational issue, it is increasingly a business imperative. Research consistently shows that organisations with strong cultures of wellbeing, inclusion and ethical leadership are more likely to:

  • attract and retain talent
  • build trust with employees and stakeholders
  • innovate and adapt successfully
  • strengthen long-term resilience and growth

At the same time, expectations of employers are changing rapidly. Employees increasingly expect organisations to demonstrate purpose, fairness, transparency and accountability in how they lead and operate. The data reflects this shift:

These are no longer simply cultural issues – they are leadership, workforce and business issues shaping the future of work. Fair Play Talks explores the challenges, tensions and opportunities behind these shifts – and the human impact of workplace and business decisions.
