Organisations have started to make progress to diversify their senior leadership ranks, but Black leaders are still hugely under represented in the UK (as reported). So the LEAD Curriculum has organised an event: Bridging the Black Leadership Gap – from Pipeline to C-suite to explore how to bridge the Black leadership gap.

Keynote speaker Sandra Kerr (OBE, CBE), Race Equality Director at BiTC, will set the scene on current Black leadership in the UK, sharing her expertise on how we can begin to bridge that gap. Educators, employers, parents and students will provide tips and suggestions to support the progression of Black employees. The event will also include a panel of accomplished Black leaders who will share their views and suggestions on how to bridge the gap successfully.

The free event, sponsored by IBM, is scheduled to take place at its offices in London on 6th February 2020. It is open to corporate leaders, HR/D&I professionals, employee network chairs, school headteachers/deputy heads, undergraduates/graduates and parents, says the organiser.
