Some of the UK’s largest retailers such as Asda, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Selfridges and WHSmith have provided key insights into how they are creating inclusive workplaces for their staff.

Published by Diversity in Retail (DiR), the compendium of diversity and inclusion (D&I) case studies from some of UK’s top retailers reveals how they are creating more inclusive workplace environments.

Businesses have had to negotiate the implementation of flexible and hybrid working as a result of the pandemic; while ensuring employee welfare is placed at the top of the agenda. DiR’s report covers how retailers have incorporated new working rhythms, which satisfy both job and company requirements but also overall team effectiveness; while creating a new level of inclusivity for all those involved in the organisation.
