Diversity and HR leaders from FTSE & Fortune 500 companies such as Barclays, LEGO and Boots are uniting at DIAL Global’s Diversity and Inclusion Summit.

Entitled The Time to Take Action is Now, the summit taking place today and tomorrow (28-29 September) is about how Chief Diversity and HR Officers can leave behind the rhetoric and empty talk about diversity and inclusion and finally start talking about what really matters.

Featuring senior leaders from FTSE & Fortune 500 Companies, the event tackles key topics in diversity and inclusion, including CEOs driving positive change, new leadership behaviours, and the role of Chief Diversity Officers in making real, sustainable change.  It also tackles questions on how organisations can make meaningful progress and become truly accessible, whether that’s talking about focusing on ability not disability, cultural awareness or mental health and wellbeing.

“This Global Summit is a critical ‘must-attend’ event for anyone working or interested in diversity and inclusion,” stated CEO and Founder of DIAL Global, Leila McKenzie-Delis. “Attendees will learn from businesses large and small about what is actually working, and how we can genuinely drive change to create more open, diverse and inclusive workplaces. We intend to leave our participants enlightened, inspired and motivated, as we talk about what really matters – real actions and real results.”

REAL DIVERSITY & INCLUSION DISCUSSIONS

The key topics covered at this event include:

  • New Leadership Behaviours – how making brave choices and taking real action has led these leaders to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • How the Chief Diversity Officer role is driving sustainable change.
  • How to become a truly accessible and inclusive workplace through a focus on ability, not disability.
  • Racial equity – how cultural competence is critical to really moving the dial.
  • Mental health and wellbeing – how to build plans that support leaders’ and employees’ mental health and well-being alike.
