RIDI 2020 Recruitment Disability Awards

The Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) Awards announced 2020’s ‘exceptional’ winners yesterday, during an online awards ceremony.

Paralympian gold medallist, Liz Johnson, hosted RIDI’s virtual event. Launched in 2014, the RIDI Awards celebrate the latest pioneering employers and recruiters who are breaking down barriers to help people with disabilities into employment.  The annual awards are the recruitment industry’s only disability awards and form a key part of RIDI’s work.  This year, the awards received a record-breaking number of over 100 entries across eight categories, confirmed the organisers.

RIDI is a unique initiative to drive change in recruitment and remove the barriers faced by the millions of people with disabilities who are entering or progressing through the job market.

EXCEPTIONAL ENTRIES & WINNERS

“I’m thrilled to say we have been overwhelmed with the quality, variety and total number of entries this year.  All finalists presented the judging panel with tough decisions but we believe the winners were exceptional,” stated Jane Hatton, Director of Evenbreak and RIDI’s Awards Chair of Judges. “I’d also like to thank our judges, who have volunteered their time in order to make this incredible journey possible.  As ever, the RIDI Awards are the perfect place for inclusive employers and recruiters to share stories of success to inspire others and gain the recognition they deserve.”
