INvolve – The Inclusion People has announced that nominations for the EMpower Ethnic Minority Role Model Lists 2020 are now open. These lists, supported by Yahoo Finance, showcase business leaders who are breaking down barriers at work and working hard to smash the ceiling for ethnic minorities in the UK, Ireland, Europe, and people of colour in the United States and Canada.
“Our businesses are lacking in diversity, with a notable absence of people of colour at all levels,” according to Involve Founder & CEO Suki Sandhu Sandhu. “The celebration of successful ethnic minority role models and advocates is a powerful way to inspire and develop the next generation of diverse talent.”
NOMINATION CATEGORIES
The three categories for nominations are:
100 Ethnic Minority Executives
Senior people of colour who are leading by example and removing barriers on the pathway to success for ethnic minority employees.
50 Ethnic Minority Future Leaders
Inspirational people of colour who are not yet senior leaders in an organisation, but are making a significant contribution to ethnic minority inclusion at work.
15 Advocates Executives
Senior leaders who are not people of colour, but dedicated to creating a more diverse and inclusive environment for ethnic minority employees.
