Disability at Work

Are you meeting the needs of your disabled customers and employees? That’s the very focus of this year’s Business Disability Forum’s annual conference, taking place on Wednesday 29 June.

Sponsored by Lloyds Banking Group, this year’s conference theme is ‘Are you being served?’ Join senior business leaders, HR, and customer service professionals, at this hybrid event to debate how businesses are meeting the needs of disabled people as consumers and in the workplace in 2022.

Speakers will be addressing the key issues of the day, such as how do we offer choice and good value to disabled consumers as living costs – and the costs associated with having a disability – continue to rise? They will also explore how we make our organisations and brands attractive to disabled talent, when competition for skilled workers is the highest ever? And how can we make sure that all staff recognise the value that disabled people bring to an organisation as colleagues and customers?

BUYING HABITS OF DISABLED PEOPLE

Business Disability Forum will also be launching its new research into the buying habits of disabled consumers. The research considers what disabled people buy and why, and the importance of disability aware staff at every step of the buying journey.

This year’s event is taking place both online and in-person at the Lindley Hall Royal Horticultural Halls in London. Numbers for the in-person event are limited to ensure the comfort and safety of everyone attending.
