RIDI Award Winners

The Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) celebrated another year of outstanding entries for its 2022 awards.

Demonstrating impactful work across many sectors the online RIDI ceremony on 7 December, hosted by UK’s disability specialist Shani Dhanda, saw examples of innovation and sustainable change all focused on increasing disability confidence in recruitment.

RIDI was founded in 2011 with the aim of safeguarding and progressing opportunities for disabled job seekers. Founded and chaired by Kate Headley, Director of the Clear Company and a UK government Disability and Access Ambassador; RIDI’s short-term strategy is to deliver authentic disability inclusion and equity by supporting the recruitment community to be confident and capable in attracting disabled talent.

2022’S RIDI AWARD WINNERS

The winners of this year’s awards by category are:

  • Getting Started: Financial Times – FT Access
  • Best Inclusive Recruitment Campaign: Virgin Atlantic Airways
  • Making a Difference Public Sector: HS2 working with Braidwood School for the Deaf, Birmingham
  • Making a Difference Private Sector: HSBC
  • Disability Confident: AMS
  • Disability Specialist: Sick in the City
  • Inclusive Recruiter of the Year: Civil Service Fast Stream and Emerging Talent
  • Inclusive Technology: Recite Me

The winner of the Greatest Impact award, voted for on the day by attendees was Virgin Atlantic Airways.

INSPIRING INCLUSIVITY
