The UK’s 2020 National Diversity Awards, in association with ITV news, are now open for nominations. The ‘pioneering’ awards have already paid tribute to over 700 grass root charities and diversity champions since its inception, according to the organiser. A record-breaking 28,000 people nominated last year alone.

CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENTS

The iconic awards have also attracted a growing list of endorsements from celebrities who are actively supporting the diversity agenda including Sir Lenny Henry, Stephen Fry and Katie Piper. This year, Emmerdale Actor, Ash Palmisciano, joins the line up of judges to help whittle down the nominees in time for the shortlist announcement in June, confirmed the organiser.

Other judges include Vanessa Vallely, MD of WeAreTheCity; Tom Jamison, Editor of Able Magazine; Hannah Graf MBE, Officer of the British Army; Christos Tsaprounis FCIPD, Head of People & Culture at Auto Trader UK; Cathy Earle, HR Director UK & Ireland of Nielson; and Raj Morjaria, Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Leadership Development at Direct Line Group.
