MESH/diversity has announced a series of interactive, online seminars designed to arm you with the ability to ‘effectively flex your Emotional Intelligence (EQ) muscles’, to weather the coronavirus crisis.

The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing us all worldwide to manage an increasingly frightening environment that’s changing by the day.  Even as the personal stressors grow, calls for social distancing and self-isolation are taxing our businesses and the ability of leaders, colleagues and newly remote workers to interact effectively and productively.

DISTANCE COMMUNICATION

“This is because effective distance communication is not a natural human skill set,” explains MESH/diversity’s Co-founder Dr Leeno Karumanchery . “It requires that we expand our behaviour that’s outside of our usual repertoire.”

The good news is that “we already have everything we need”, adds Dr. Karumanchery. Decades of research shows us the key is EQ. On Thursday, March 26th at 1pm (EDT), Dr Karumanchery will be leading us through a series of interactive, online seminars designed to help you ‘weather this storm and hit the ground running once we make it to dry land’.

KEY APPROACHES

All attendees can access their free EQ results so they can follow along in real time as Dr Karumanchery digs deep into EQ metrics. Beyond introductory discussions of EQ, the consultancy will be providing key approaches you can take to get the most out of yourself and your teammates, such as:

  • How to avoid the specific performance pitfalls that a pandemic brings out in us.
  • The best communication strategies that ensure remote team success.
  • How best to proactively limit the challenges that remote work brings.
  • Why resilience is a leading indicator of high performance.
