Racing for Equality Online Summit

Equality Leaders will be hosting the Racing for Equality Summit online on 6 October 2021 (9:05am-16:25pm BST).

Race has and continues to be a topic which impacts people of colour in every facet of their lives; and spoken about in our boardrooms, corridors of businesses, and in all corners of society. However, very little meaningful action has been delivered to date, to drive real change, according to the organiser.

The virtual event, sponsored by Japan Airlines, features global executives, millennials and Gen Z who will discuss how to advance equity to reach a place of equality, where businesses can reflect the communities it serves.

TOP TOPICS

Topics of discussion include, how to:

  • Embed racial equity in practice and the necessary steps to succeed in a globalised economy.
  • Link race equality to better business outcomes through inclusive leadership.
  • Choose action, over observation and progression over perfection.
  • Unpack the inequities of lived experiences to reach a place of equality.
  • Harness the current momentum to enable impactful change.
  • Become an ally: How to get invited to the table and unlock the power of inclusion.
