Innovative fintech and edtech payment solutions firm Transact Campus Inc has announced the appointment of Mechelle King as Vice President for Inclusion, Diversity and Engagement.

King brings nearly 30 years of human resources expertise and experience in the technology, healthcare and financial services industries to Transact. Most recently, she served as vice president, human resources business partner at Caliber Home Loans, Inc.

MISSION-CRITICAL WORK

King will guide Transact’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) policies and programmes internally. She will also play a key role in growing impactful and collaborative client outreach and engagement programmes for the company. Her mission-critical work will support each of the 500+ members of Transact’s growing team and its 1,750+ clients.

King began her human resources career in financial services with Bank of America and EMC Mortgage. During her time there she held leadership roles supporting high volume call centres; payment and fulfilment operations; as well as client servicing within the healthcare services industry at Express Scripts. She also held key human resources business partner roles at CoreLogic and Caliber Home Loans. Here she led the strategy for mergers and acquisitions; workforce planning; organisational transformation; talent management; succession planning; and employee engagement programmes.

Additionally, King led various DE&I leadership pipeline programmes for junior military officers, women in production retail sales; and Dallas Year Up interns while at CoreLogic and Caliber. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas; and a Master of Human Resource Management degree from Dallas Baptist University.
