Announcing 2023's Board Awards finalists

The finalists of 2023’s Board Awards, celebrating diverse Boards that positively impact the communities they serve, have been announced.

Diverse Boards are vital for effective decision-making, innovation and success, according to the awards organiser Diversifying Group. “We want to shine a light on the individuals and Boards who are paving the way in creating more inclusive practices whilst delivering on their mission,” stated Cynthia Davis, Founder & CEO. “When Boards are made up of people from different backgrounds who bring different lived experiences, this affords a more well-rounded and in-depth approach to the work they carry out.”

Diversifying Group leads inclusive recruitment campaigns to increase applications of aspiring non-Execs from under-represented backgrounds. “Through dedicated efforts of like-minded people and organisations, we are starting to see positive change in the diversity make-up of Boards,” added Davis. “The continued efforts to bring more diverse voices into influential decision-making spaces are propelling us forward in the fight for equality. That’s why at The Board Awards, we’re coming together to recognise, celebrate and inspire.”
