The latest Influential Muslim List celebrates the achievements and contributions of Muslim professionals in the workplace and society, whose work has brought distinction to Muslim communities and enhanced the reputation of Muslims across Europe and the US.

These outstanding people have a solid track record of making a positive difference in their chosen field and in society. They are influencing with impact to improve workplace culture. This year, the list is split between two regions to focus on amplifying the outstanding contribution of remarkable Muslims in both the US and across the UK, and Europe.

The Top 50 Influential Muslims in the UK/Europe and Top 50 Influential Muslims in the Americas was published by EqualityX, founded by Dr. Zaheer Ahmad MBE. EqualityX was established to celebrate outstanding Muslim talent and champion the achievements of inclusive Muslim employers. A total of 64 Muslim women were recognised across both lists. From doctors to lawyers, entrepreneurs to business owners and professionals working across different sectors and industries were inducted into the inaugural list.

“The list celebrates outstanding people of Islamic faith with a track record of making a positive difference in their chosen field and in society,” stated EqualityX’s CEO Dr Zaheer Ahmad MBE. When Dr Ahmad set out on the journey to create a platform which celebrated the contribution of Muslims in the workplace, he wanted to create something which showcased inspiring Muslims professionals across industries and sectors: “I am pleased to see this vision reflected in both lists published today.”
