Male Allies Championing Gender Diversity

House of Rose Professional has revealed this year’s Break the ceiling touch the sky Male Champions for Gender Equality.

Research shows that when men play a role in gender equality in the workplace, adoption is faster and organisations report faster progress on the gender equality agenda. Gender equality has a direct and positive impact on business ROI, innovation, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and attraction as an employer of talent.

The 2023 Male Champions for Gender Equality are supporting House of Rose Professional’s Mission 2029 for a Better World, which aims to shape a better world via better diversity & inclusion, better leadership and better business. The Measure for MISSION 2029 for a Better World is to quintuple the number of Female CEOs and double the number of male (advocates for diversity) CEOs in the World’s 500 largest companies by end of 2029.

2023’S MALE CHAMPIONS FOR GENDER EQUALITY

The 2023 Male Champions for Gender Equality list is focused almost entirely on the corporate world.  The five factors used in the final determination of the male champions include: active and visible advocacy for gender equality; scale of influence; commitment to advancing women in leadership in their own organisations; supporting women to learn externally from other best in class organisations; and investment in gender diversity and inclusion programming. Personal role-modelling for gender equality was used as the baseline factor.

The shortlist of 2023’s Break the ceiling touch the sky Male Champions for Gender Equality were recognised at the 2023 World Edition of Break the ceiling touch the sky on 16 November in Singapore.
