To mark Global Accessibility Awareness Day today (Thursday 19 May), Business Disability Forum’s Technology Taskforce, is sharing several new free resources to help organisations understand the benefits of accessibility.

Around 15% of the world’s population has a disability and accessibility is about making information, products, and systems usable for disabled people and everyone. Whether writing emails, managing projects, designing products or buying-in tech, we all need to think about accessibility.

FREE DISABILITY RESOURCES

The free resources from the Business Disability Forum provide organisations with ready-to-use presentations, videos, Q and A documents, an online guide to accessibility training, etc. It also provides answers to key accessibility questions, such as:

  • What is accessibility?
  • Who benefits from accessibility?
  • How does accessibility drive innovation?
  • Why is diversity important in the workplace?
  • What is brand accessibility?
  • What is inclusive design?
  • How can accessibility improve legal compliance?
  • Which accessibility training is right for me and my organisation?
