Dial Global Summit 2024

DIAL Global’s first virtual summit of 2024 will tackle tough workplace diversity, inclusion, belonging, equity and culture (DIBEC) topics to help move the dial and drive meaningful change this year. Themed “Global DIBEC Trends: Strategies to Drive
Meaningful Change in 2024,” this visionary event, sponsored by Royal Mail, is scheduled to take place on 30 January 2024.

In the wake of a tumultuous year marked by global upheavals, including economic crises and geopolitical conflicts like the Israel-Gaza war, DIAL Global’s first summit of the year will analyse the profound impact of these events on workplaces. The day-long event will examine how current events are impacting the workplace and how leaders can bring about meaningful and sustainable change through their DIBEC efforts.

Diversity, equity, inclusion, wellbeing and communications experts will delve into pressing global issues facing leaders and managers globally, including:

  • Strategies for managing workplace conflicts arising from events like the Israel-Gaza
war, emphasising the pivotal role of DIBEC in crisis management.
  • The escalating significance of the ‘Social’ aspect in Environmental, Social, and
Governance (ESG) and how DIBEC is at the forefront of effectively addressing these
    concerns.
  • Establishing authentic corporate allyship to bring about sustained and meaningful
change for marginalised groups and communities.
  • Addressing racial equity through initiatives like ethnicity reporting, aimed at closing
pay gaps, eliminating bias, and enhancing racial diversity in leadership.
  • Guidance on creating family-friendly workplaces, extending support to all working
parents, including those facing fertility challenges or exploring alternative paths to
expand their families, with discussions touching on previously considered taboo
    topics like breastfeeding at work.

INSPIRING INSIGHTS

Leila McKenzie-Delis, CEO and Founder of DIAL Global, emphasised the relevance of the summit, particularly for business leaders and DIBEC/HR professionals: “Our global summit is a must-attend event for anyone engaged in diversity and inclusion. Participants will not only gain inspiration and insights into current issues, but will also leave with actionable strategies to help drive meaningful and sustainable change in 2024.”

Senior leaders from organisations such as Royal Mail, Barclays, Hilton, Ipsos, ISS, Kick It Out, Lego, Lexis Nexis, Saga, Sanofi and WHSmith will not only discuss how key global events and workplace issues are impacting lives worldwide, but also reveal DIBEC’s role in creating much-needed change.
